News roundup

Turn a news link, or a whole list of sources, into a finished video with script, voice-over and music. This is the most used tool here.

Step 1 — Sources

Two ways to bring articles in, usable together.

MethodWhen to use it
Pick news sourcesWhen you want the latest articles from publications. Set how many to fetch and press Scan — you get a list and can drop anything you do not want.
Paste article linksWhen you already have specific articles. Paste as many links as you like; the content is scraped from those pages.

After scanning, press Fetch content and media to pull each article's text and images up front. This step is optional: skip it and the video still renders, scraping at render time instead.

Fetch first if you want control

Fetching up front shows you which articles scraped badly and which have no images, and lets you edit the script before spending credit. Skipping it hands everything to render time.

Editing articles before rendering

Every article in the list is editable. Edited ones carry an Edited badge and can always be restored to the original.

  • Title — this is the text shown on the video, so write it for social media rather than keeping a long newspaper headline.
  • Script — leave it blank and it is generated at render time. Fill it in and your wording is used verbatim.
  • View original — open the source link to compare.
  • Remove — drop the article from this run.

A non-Vietnamese voice discards all your edits

If the voice chosen in step 2 is not Vietnamese, the AI rewrites the whole script from the original article into that language — everything you just edited is discarded. See voice-over and subtitles.

Images and clips

Each article carries its own media set; drag to reorder how they appear. You can add more by uploading files or picking stock images.

A cap of 8 images and 3 clips per article

Anything beyond that is trimmed at render time, with a warning shown beforehand. If you need specific images, remove the surplus yourself rather than letting the system choose what to cut.

Shared media lets you attach a set of images or clips used by every article in the run — handy for a brand backdrop or a recurring clip.

An article with no usable images will not become a video. That is the usual reason behind "the scan succeeded but I got fewer videos than articles".

Step 2 — Voice and music

Settings here apply to every video in the run.

Music sourceWhat it means
From templateEach template uses the music configured inside it. Choose this when rendering several templates at once.
PresetOne track from the system library, shared by every video in the run.
UploadYour own audio file.
NoneVoice-over only.

Templates and the video count

A template is mandatory — without one nothing renders. You can select several, and the output count is articles × templates.

That multiplication spends credit fast

10 articles × 3 templates is 30 videos from one click. The summary panel always shows the resulting videos to be created with the multiplication — read it before saving.

Saving holds the credit immediately and the videos land in your library. This tool does not publish — publishing is a separate step on the Publish screen.

Videos are kept for 7 days

Once rendered, a video stays in the library for 7 days from creation and is then deleted automatically, even if it was never published. After that it shows as a Draft with no file, and the credit already charged is not refunded. Download it or publish it within that window.

Tips

  • Test one article × one template first. Look at a real render before multiplying. Template problems only show up in a render.
  • For hands-off running, use Automation. This tool is a manual run; if you want new articles scanned and published daily on their own, see source automation.
  • Fewer articles than expected is normal. Some publications refresh their feed only a few times a day, and articles without images are dropped.
  • Rewrite each title. Newspaper headlines are written for people skimming a web page, not for someone watching vertical video on a phone.
