Performance analytics
Views, engagement, watch time and audience demographics across connected channels — as far as each platform is willing to report them.
What this page shows
- Overview metrics — total views, watch time, likes, comments and shares for the reporting period.
- Performance chart — daily view trend.
- Account comparison — 30-day views, video count, followers and share of total per channel.
- Watch time — average watch duration and retention.
- Demographics — age, gender and geography of viewers.
- Top videos — the highest-viewed and most-engaged videos.

Where the figures come from
Every figure comes from the platform, not from our own counting
We only ask and display. So numbers here can differ from what you see in the platform's own app, and are typically up to 24 hours behind. A just-published post showing nothing yet is normal.
For YouTube, reading analytics requires the yt-analytics.readonly scope and the YouTube Analytics API enabled. Without either, the channel reports zeroes while publishing still works — see the YouTube guide.
When figures are missing
We name the specific reason each channel returned nothing, rather than showing a bare zero.
| Reason | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Permission missing | The analytics scope was skipped during authorisation. | Reconnect the channel and approve everything. |
| Needs reconnecting | The authorisation expired or was revoked. | Press Reconnect on the Channels page. |
| Rate limited | The platform is throttling requests. | Wait and come back later. |
| Temporary error | A problem on the platform’s side. | Nothing to do; try again later. |
Demographics require an eligible account
Platforms only return demographic data once an account meets their threshold. New or small channels usually have none, and that is not a fault.
Reading the numbers usefully
- Comparisons between channels matter more than absolute figures. The same content doing five times better on one channel is a clear signal.
- Retention says more than views. High views with low retention means the title worked and the content did not hold anyone.
- Change one thing at a time. Change the template, the voice and the posting hour together and the data cannot tell you which mattered.
- Do not conclude anything from a few days. Platform distribution swings hard in the short term.
