Connecting TikTok

TikTok is the quickest to connect: one authorisation login and you are done. This page covers the two TikTok-only options and the publishing limits.

Connection steps

Add account → TikTok
Channels → Add account → TikTok → Connect.

Sign in through the TikTok popup
Sign in with the TikTok account you want and approve every permission. If you manage several TikTok accounts, double-check which one you are signed in as — TikTok remembers the last session in your browser.

Check the list
The account appears under Accounts with its handle and follower count.

Two TikTok-only options

The publishing screen shows two switches no other platform has. Both are set per post.

Option	What it does
Allow comments	Turn it off and the post publishes with comments locked. Note that this also prevents our auto-comment feature from running on that post.
Allow content reuse	Lets other people Duet or Stitch your video. Turn it off if you do not want your content recut.

Limits

Video up to 10 minutes, vertical 9:16.
Caption up to 2,200 characters, hashtags included.
A cap of 15 posts a day per account.

AI-generated content

TikTok requires AI-generated content to be labelled. Video built here usually qualifies, so switch the AI label on in TikTok whenever your video uses an AI voice-over, an AI presenter, or AI-generated imagery.

Common problems

Symptom	Cause	Fix
You connected the wrong TikTok account	The browser still held another account session.	Disconnect, sign out of TikTok in the browser, then reconnect. Note the wrongly connected account keeps its slot held for 7 days, so it occupies an extra channel slot meanwhile.
The post is on TikTok but nobody sees it	TikTok is reviewing it, or the account is under a visibility restriction.	Check in the TikTok app. This is TikTok’s decision and we cannot influence it.
A few posts go out, then publishing is blocked	You hit the 15-a-day cap.	Spread the schedule out. The recommended level for keeping reach is 5 posts per channel per day.
