AI effects
Hundreds of prebuilt effects applied to still images to produce video. Prices vary enormously between effects, so always read the cost breakdown first.
How to use it
- Pick an effect from the list.
- Upload the number of images that effect requires — the interface states whether it needs one or two.
- Write a caption if you want one. Left blank, it is generated from the effect name.
- Press Create & save to library. Track progress on the Videos page.
One-image and two-image effects
Each effect requires a fixed number of images. Too few or too many and the form will not submit; the message states exactly how many are needed.
With two-image effects, order matters
The first and second image play different roles in the composition — a morph effect, for instance, travels from image one to image two. Swapping them reverses the result.
Price varies by effect
The priciest effect costs many times the cheapest
That is why the tool card shows a range rather than a figure. Price follows the individual effect, and the spread between the two ends is large.
Once you choose an effect, the cost breakdown updates to that effect. Always read the number in the breakdown before creating — not the range on the card.
How the calculation works is covered in how credit is calculated.
What makes a good input image
- Sharp and high resolution. A blurry input produces a blurry video.
- The subject fills a good part of the frame. Too small and the effect has nothing to work with.
- For effects applied to people, the face or full body must be clearly visible and unobstructed.
- Avoid images with text or logos already burned in — effects distort text into gibberish.
You can generate the source image with text to image and bring it here for the effect.
