Channel groups
Bundle channels into a group so you pick one thing instead of ticking each. Groups also carry a shared approval mode.
What groups are for
With fifteen channels, ticking exactly the right seven for every post becomes a source of mistakes. Groups fix that: picking a group picks every channel in it.
- A channel can belong to several groups at once.
- A group is only a bundle, not a new channel — groups do not consume channel slots.
- Group them the way you actually work: by topic ("Morning news"), by brand, or by format (every vertical 9:16 channel).
Creating a group
- 1
Open the Groups tab
Channels → Groups tab → Create group.
- 2
Name it and pick channels
Name it after its purpose rather than its contents — "Morning news" is easier to remember than "TikTok + FB + YT". The description is there for the other people on your team.

Choose the approval mode
Publish automatically or wait for approval — see below.
Approval mode
| Mode | What happens | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Publish automatically | A finished video publishes on schedule with nobody pressing anything. | Routine content you already trust: news roundups, republished material. |
| Manual approval | A finished video stops in a pending state. Someone has to review and approve before it goes out. | Brand channels, sensitive content, or the early period while you are still tuning templates. |
Approval mode also exists per channel
Every channel has its own approval mode, independent of any group. A channel set to manual still waits for approval even when you publish through an automatic group. That is deliberate: an important channel is not loosened just because it landed in some group.
Things to watch
- A group spanning several platforms still applies each platform's own limits. A group with Threads and TikTok truncates the caption on Threads (500 characters) while TikTok keeps it whole.
- Deleting a group does nothing to its channels. They stay connected and keep publishing.
- Removing a channel from the system removes it from every group that held it.
- Groups work both on the publishing screen and in campaigns.
